Healthy Living Link Party #95: Redeveloping Discipline

Welcome to the Healthy Living Link Party #95

2016 was a wild ride for my family. My husband accepted a call to a new ministry and we moved from our home of 13 years to a new home in a new community with a new style of living. We ended up owning two houses for a short time. We did a lot of renovation and a lot of traveling. And life got pretty chaotic.

As a result, I was often in survival mode. I wasn’t unhappy, quite the contrary, but I was crazy busy and often didn’t know for sure what the next day would hold. Routine kind of went out the window.

So now that we’re settled in (and loving!) our new home, church, and community, I need to redevelop some discipline in my life if I’m going to stay physically and mentally healthy. My New Year’s Goals reflect that. I’ve embarked upon a 52 Week Savings Challenge, resumed knitting, and am trying to read more books, among other things. So for it’s going well! I hope 2017 is off to an equally good start for you and your family!
