Happy National Coffee Day!

Happy National Coffee Day! I’m happily enjoying some house-blend vanilla hazelnut half caff from my favorite blue travel mug. I hope you’re finding little ways to celebrate, too.

  2. Happy Coffee day to you, too! But, every day is coffee day in our house 🙂 We don’t have a Dunkin Donuts here; we always enjoyed stopping at a Tim Horton’s when in Canada.

Normally I just drink coffee with milk in it, but today since I stopped at the gas station to buy gas I bought a small cup of half pumpkin spice cappucino/half house blend. Otherwise too sweet. We have a pot always going in the employee lounge at school and folks bring in different flavors of creamer.

We usually only brew coffee at home on the weekend and holidays. Otherwise we also drink a lot of tea. My children gave my husband a Kuerig machine for his shop along with the reusable coffee pod. I read that a couple billion of those little cups are going into the landfill now every year! The man that invented them never meant them for home use but as a way to sample/showcase different coffees by commercial users.
