I use a lot of colloquialisms that my kids find hilarious. The best one to describe my life today is, “I’m busy as a bee.” But I wanted to “sit a spell” with you and share a couple of fun things I did this week because I thought you might enjoy trying them this weekend. I’ll just have to share quickly, or I’ll be “up a crick without a paddle” for sure. Hopefully these little projects will make you smile, too!
First, I made more Bleach Dyed Shirts. Most were for gifts, but I can show you the one I made for my daughter to take to her Summer Studies university dual enrollment course that begins in a little over a week. Can you guess with which fandom she associates? Who is your favorite Doctor? She likes Ten and, somewhat unusually, Nine.
My other quick project was a batch of homemade granola bars. My son can take these to work for his lunch and we can all enjoy them as snacks. With only four real food ingredients and one cooking/mixing pot, they go together in a hurry. I keep them individually wrapped in the freezer so they’re cool and quick to grab and go. Hmmmmm…I wonder what happened to that missing bar…?
Have a great weekend! Do you have any projects planned?
